On April 1, 1974 PRO FORM was born. The name PRO FORM is derived from our basic philosophy and very “reason for being”…. To offer our customer PROfessional perFORMance in products and services.
The company was started by Howard and Marlene Speck in Milton, Ontario. PRO FORM began as a direct marketing company offering approximately seventy-five products. PRO FORM was one of the first companies in Canada to market a stone and chip guard. Still today we have under trademark the term GRAVL GUARD TM along with various other products.
PRO FORM was run by the Speck family until 1986 when it was purchased by Jerry West of Cleveland, Ohio. Jerry brings with him, over 35 years of chemical manufacturing and production experience. The company has changed since its inception from a direct marketing company to a company that only markets through warehouse distribution also known in the market as controlled distribution.
At the present time, PRO FORM is marketing over 300 products and growing everyday. PRO FORM will continue to grow through the expansion of market share.
